Mourning in Nahariya: Chabad emissary died on Friday night

Baruch Dayan Haemes: On Friday night, Chabad emissary Rabbi Yisrael Baruch Butman from Nahariya passed away, at the age of 55.

Rabbi Butman suffered a cardiac arrest last week and never regained consciousness. During Shabbos his condition worsened and he returned his soul to its Creator.

The deceased was born to his parents, influential Rabbi Sholom Ber Butman and Mrs. Devorah, Chairman of Chabad women and girls in Israel.

He served as chief envoy of the Lubavitcher Rebbe zt"l in Nahariya , CEO of Ahli institutions Yosef Yitzchak and a member of the Association of Chabad Israel.

Survived by his wife, Shifra, a teacher and his sons and daughter.

Brothers : Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak , Mashgiach at Tomcheri Temimim in Lod , Rabbi Yehuda , Ramat Hasharon Chabad emissary, Rabbi Yochanan , Chabad emissary in Chadera and his sister Michal segal, the wife of Rabbi Shlomo Segal, the Rabbi of the Crown - Heights .

The funeral will leave tomorrow (Sunday) at 10:00 am from Chabad synagogue on 8 Hannah Szenes Street in Nahariya , on the way to the Shamgar Funeral Home in Jerusalem and Har Hazesim where he will be laid to rest.
