Jonathan Pollard, who has been imprisoned more than 28 years in the U.S. because of spying for Israel, was hospitalized yesterday in a hospital outside the prison where he is being held, due to worsening of his medical condition - Staff for his release announced. "He is in a lot of pain and unstable medical condition."
Pollard worked in U.S. Naval Intelligence in Washington and at the same time spied for Israel. He was caught and sentenced to life imprisonment, with a recommendation not to release him.
Pollard is imprisoned since November 1985, and for years there is a public campaign in Israel and the United States calling for his reprieve. Please Pray: Yonatan ben Malka for a complete recovery.
