Lakewood miracle: a child was run over and dragged, and still alive

"Miracle", so they say in Lakewood following an accident (Tuesday): a 9 year old boy crossed the street with his bicycle and was run over by a van who had not noticed the child and dragged the boy down the street, when the child is trapped under the truck.

The accident occurred at 9. The truck turned left and did not notice the 9 -year old boy who was run over by his vehicle and got stuck under the truck with his bike when the truck continues to drive 25 yards further.

Fortunately for the child, a police car came in front and signed the truck to stop. The truck driver stopped in surprise and asked the officer why he stopped him.

Volunteer of Chaverim Peretz Gershenbaum who arrived first scene of the accident said that as soon as he saw the incident he rushed to pull out his jack to lift the truck over the place where the child was trapped.

Ambulances rescue organization members and police worked for 15 minutes until they got the kid out from under the truck. Rescue ambulance transferred the child who was fully conscious to a local hospital. The public is asked to pray for the child Mordechai ben Yehudit Ruth for a complete recovery.
