"The ones organizing this this demonstration are Haredi activists, who feels the ground slipping from under their feet," says Welfare Minister Meir Cohen 9Yesh Atid) to Channel 10.
"From next month they have lost 20-25 thousand young inmates at yeshivas. They are supposed to work. They do not have the alibi that 'we do not go to the army because we are in the yeshivas. Genuine revolution; the best thing that happened this year in Israel.
"I spoke honestly to one of the Haredi leaders on Thursday and he told me, 'You should do it in another ten years. You cannot dismantle the yeshivas and all the apparatus.
As soon as the law will pass by second and third readings, we will witness dramatic exit to the labor market. 30 percent of haredim are in the cycle of poverty because of the current situation, "continued Cohen, who called for businesses and enterprises to open their doors to the Haredim, "they are a remarkable people."
Cohen argued that contrary to the image the media, Minister Lapid and his party members also enjoy popularity in the field, but said he did not downplay the threats to the Minister of Finance Yair Lapid, and called him to hire a guard.
