The rabbis: "firecrackers are "Thou shall not kill"

Following the events of the past week including a number of children who were injured due to firecrackers , Orthodox rabbis declared that the sellers of detonators is nothing less than a ' killer'

Rabbis of Beitar Illit, published an ad warning against the game firecrackers. So too, the rabbis ordered to call the police when a detonators seller is exposed, the Beitar Illit News Website reports.

The rabbis added that the detonators cause panic and are dangerous for pregnant women, in the past, say the rabbis, there were cases of abortion due to the sound of these detonators. "A boy who set off such a firecracker is really a killer." Rabbis claim.

Police chiefs ordered to increase its operations currently with the Ministry of Economy and local authorities on the subject of selling "dangerous toys", in order to identify places where they are sold and confiscate them.

Also, they intensified these activities currently being undertaken by the youth units in police stations in order to minimize the use of hazardous items among minors and to prevent injury and physical damage.
