Lebanon report: IAF attacked twice Hezbollah targets near the border with Syria • among targets: Weapon convoy

The Lebanese News Agency reported this evening (Monday), that Israeli warplanes attacked a the a-Nabi Shith region, near the border between Syria and Lebanon.

According to "Al Arabiya" network, the first target was Hezbollah facilities in Lebanon, near the border and that Hezbollah members were killed in the attack. According to the report the explosions were heard throughout the Lebanese Valley. Another report says the attack's target was a Hezbollah's missile base.

The Lebanese channel LBC claimed that in the attacked area are transitions between Lebanon and Syria, through which weapons and equipment is transferred to an unregulated manner. Another target that was being attacked is a weapon convoy transferred from Syria to Lebanon.

Lebanese news website 'a - Nashra" reported that Israeli warplanes attacked twice in the region, close to the towns Janta and Yahfofa in the Valley.

Israeli security source declined to tell Reuters whether there was an air strike in Lebanon or Syria, but confirmed "that the Air Force performed an unusual activity in the north".
