Court presents a decision making fun of the yeshivas

Supreme Court will decide on the yeshiva budget and will grant a respondent to the yeshiva representatives, announced tonight (Tuesday) yet upheld the interim order to stop the budgets.

Supreme Court accepted the petition of the yeshiva; to please join them as respondents to the petition filed by Hiddush regarding the budget for enlistment date was postponed by the Minister of Defense. Petition following which interim order was issued ordering the state to stop the transfer of yeshiva budget for students.

The resolution on the yeshiva to submit their reply to the petition until March 3 , will then schedule a hearing date .

The decision means the one hand, the extension of the hearing on the subject, and next month the yeshiva will lose millions. However estimated conscription law in the Israeli Knesset approved before the renewed hearing.

Solicitor Advocate Bezalel Smotritz, is barely hiding his anger: " We definitely feel the disappointment hard fact that the court did not see fit to cancel the interim order immediately ," he says . , We thought, and we still believe that the interim order is in error, and even injustice, elementary and therefore one would expect that the court will cancel it and then hold a discussion.

"We will consider now the way and there is no guarantee that the decision today we will be interested to join the proceedings in this and play the game. Timetable set course not to determine discussion and would not be given any decision before the supposed will be transported yeshiva budget next month (which of course, will be only partly due to interim order which remains in place) then it is likely that the Knesset will end the legislative process, the petition shall be deleted and the order will expire evidently.

"In this situation a waste of time and energy that we need to invest in managing the case when it is clear in advance that it will not lead anywhere. Difficult to escape the feeling that the layout set in the day is designed to bring exactly this place and prevent the court from the need to discuss and decide the merits of our arguments."
