Palestinian official says tonight (Monday): "there is no agreement without the Western Wall."
In an interview given by Mahmoud al - Habash, the Palestinian minister of religious endowments, to Channel 10, he says, there will be no peace that does not include Jerusalem as the capital of the Palestinian state, "no peace without ending the Israeli occupation that began in '67. Every piece of land that Israel occupied then belongs to the Palestinians" .
Al – Habash stressed in an interview that the Palestinian claim includes "Al - Aqsa, including the Western Wall."
However the Palestinian minister generously agreed that "they will not impose restrictions on Jewish prayer at the holy places, that's great, no problem. There will not be any restrictions on freedom of worship. Worship is one thing and politics is another thing."
Abu Ala holds the Jerusalem portfolio permission. He also cast doubt in the success of the negotiations, but stressed that "the negotiations received intensive American intervention ever. Therefore, if he fails there will be unwanted consequences."
