On 6th Tammuz תש"ע his brother, Rabbi Tzvi Elimelech Fingerhut z"l, who also served as director of the seminary, passed away.

The deceased was born in America on 29th Nissan תשכ"ט to his father Rabbi Yisrael Yitzchak Fingerhut to a family of 13 children, and when he was 15, the family immigrated to Israel.

His father, Rabbi Israel Yitzhak Fingerhut, established and managed girls seminary at which the girls from the northern region study, and died in the year תש"ס.

The deceased married Mrs. Rachel Devorah daughter of Rabbi Peretz Goldstein, and continued to live in Hazor, where he had seven children - the eldest of which was 18 and the youngest is a few months old.

In recent years since his brother passed away, he ran the seminary in Hazor, which his father founded.

This evening he collapsed close to the seminary after suffering a heart attack. MDA rescue teams rushed to the scene and found him without pulse or breathing. Following CPR attempts his death was confirmed.

His sister Mrs Tova Rachel Oppenheim passed away at the age of 30, leaving behind four young orphans.
