Modi'in Illit praying: avrech had surgery in serious condition

Modi'in Illit worried: one of the important yeshiva students in the city and one of the greatest scholars who was also among the heads of Lev Leachim activists and the founder and director of Mi Haish in the city – is in a difficult state.

Last week, the scholar felt pain in his back, after he went to the doctor for tests - which did not identify the cause of the pain, he felt that he cannot move his legs and headed to Tel Hashomer – where they discovered the severe disease has developed in his spine.

At the end of consultations with medical officials it was decided to fly him to Germany after it became clear that this kind of surgery was carried out in Israel only twice.

Today (Tuesday) at 12:00 pm [German time] the complicated surgery began.

The public is requested to pray for Rabbi Yisrael Meir Ben Simcha. City rabbis sought to study the book of the Chafetz Chaim for his recovery.

Children of Darcei Chinuch, which he ran, are praying for his recovery.
