Troubles - because they spilled blood of an agunah"

Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Leib Landau explained yesterday (Sunday) in his sermon at the school Bais Yaakov in Bnei Brak in honor of his father - Rabbi Yaakov Landau's yartzeit , of what he thought the recent disaster which strikes particularly hard in the Haredi sector.

And with such chutzpah the next day they called again and again, and yelled at me in the street. Ever heard of this? Such people dictate to Rabbis what to do? They dictate to Rabbis on halachic conclusions? "Said Hgrmy"l.

"Jerusalem was destroyed only because of desecration of scholars, and in Jerusalem itself dishonored a Rabbi in Mea Shearim that ruled the get was kosher, what do they want to keep a woman as an aguna? Can she never get married?" He ended his sharp words.

Recall a month ago there was a thrilling affair concerning a get supposedly given unlawfully to a wife, and after she was about to marry again - posters flooded the boards. However, eventually the happy couple married at a huge wedding in Bnei - Brak, attended by the great Rebbes and Rabbis.
