Students of the Knesset Chezkiyahu Yeshiva in Rechasim are learning these days in complete darkness at the Yeshiva Hall.

Monday morning this week, beginning with Seder Alef, the power went out due to the high debt of the yeshiva to the IEC. The company announced that it will not continue to provide power until the debt will be settled.

Yeshiva hang nonpayment of electricity as an inevitable result of the government's cuts which have swung the Torah world and yeshivas.

Until now this is reflected in food of the boys which has been cut, and salaries of the rabbis, but now the situation has become critical.

Yeshiva students learn as a result by candlelight and real devotion, Gedolei Yisrael come to the assistance of the yeshiva and ordered to publicize the situation so that people can pitch in and help to reside out the dismal economic situation.
