Mourning in Satmar: yeshiva boy died in middle of night

Satmar Hasidism in Jerusalem are shocked at the sudden death of a young yeshiva student Yishayahu Kaufman z"l, the son of Rabbi Aryeh Yehudah Kaufman, at the age of 15.
The incident occurred late at night when the Kaufman family, a prominent family of the Satmar Hasidim in Jerusalem, returned from a wedding with family. Upon returning home, the boy complained of weakness and said he was not feeling well. Within minutes he suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness.
Hatzala and MDA volunteers were called to Salant Street where the boy lived, and for several minutes were trying to perform CPR. The by was taken in a critical condition to the hospital where he died in front of his shocked parents.
The father of the boy is a director of Torah publishing organization, and an associate of the Rebbes of Toldos Avraham Yitzchak and Spinka in Jerusalem.
The funeral will leave today at 12:30 pm from the Beis Midrash Berech Moshe Satmar on Yonah Street, adjacent to the Satmar Yeshiva in Jerusalem on its way to the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.
