The Committee approved: one Chief Rabbi of the State of Israel

The new law will separate the rabbinate and the court system which is an independent judicial body. In addition, the Roshei Av Beit Din will be appointed only from Avot Beit Din and not by being Dayan selected as Rabbi of the City, similar to the president of the court.
