1000 learners were absorbed at Brit Achim fund
Foundation founded by Rabbi Yeshayahu Pinto will support kollel scholars • will grant NIS 1000 to yeshiva students commited to study Zohar and volunteer at welfare and educational organizations

Many difficulties faced by kollelim throughout the country prompted the opening of the Brit Achim Foundation, under the presidency of Rabbi Yeshayahu Pinto and aims to help avrechim who have no institutional or strong economic backing.
Just a few weeks after the announcement of the program and project taking shape, about 1,000 learners of about -5500 yeshiva students enrolled, has been accepted by the system and will begin to receive monthly stipend, yeshiva students accepted are living in the south and north and were accepted after passing all the published criteria and after proving they have 1000 ODs against.
Yeshiva students passed the CPA examination and checked the references and a committee of five rabbis examined everything.
Brit Achim Fund will be run by Rabbi Moshe Goldstein and stand under the presidency of Rabbi Yeshayahu Pinto.
The fund was established as revealed in a special session during which they undertook to bear the burden of the fund 25 governors belonging to the Rebbe, Rabbi Yeshayahu Pinto and thus help to establish the financial position of many kollelim in cities in the country, who do not meet the heavy financial burden associated with maintaining the yeshiva students.
Brit Achim fund will support 2000learners under the 'matching' system supported in turn to undertake to transfer NIS 1000 to every avrech and a similar amount will be transferred to the kollel student fund.
Fund established to support yeshiva students who live in the periphery in the north and the south, where naturally the vast majority of which include supported belong to Sephardim and Baalei Teshuva who do not have patrons and/or institutional and economic backing and therefore had a particularly hard time to bear the burden of heavy financial management involved in funding a kollel.
Yeshiva students on their part undertake to devote an hour each day studying the Zohar in the order of learning amended by Rabbi Pinto. Additionally they require the kollel student to spend time to volunteer at welfare and educational organizations in their city, in order to develop chessed in Israel.
