Hundreds of friends and family arrived at Kiryat Yoel on Sunday morning, to participate in the erection of the matzeva at the grave of Rabbi Menachem Stark hy"d, who was murdered and whose body was found a week ago.
Stark's brother in law, R' Herschel Buksbaum, said that the erection of the tombstone was soaked with tears, in the presence of thousands of people who came to comfort the family that finds it difficult to recover from the sudden tragedy.
Meanwhile it was learned today that an investigator from the police investigation team that is trying to unravel the murder, found a mounted GPS device underneath the deceased's car - the size of a mobile phone. According to information which reached Behadrey Haredim, the device was mounted on the inner side of the vehicle, and probably through it the murderers received information about Stark's location at any given moment.
One of the researchers said yesterday that police is checking the possibility that the mini-van in which Stark was kidnapped, bearing a license plate of the State of Ohio, was a rental car hired by the murderers or their dispatchers owned by a Haredi car rental company in Boro Park.
The results collected so far indicate that it is suspected robbers tried to rob Stark, and after he resisted and struggled, they sat on him until he choked.
Even New York Mayor Bill De Belisio, yesterday broke his silence on the subject of the abominable murder. In a radio program in which De Belision took part he denounced the murder, promised the police will do everything to capture the criminals, mentioned the anti-Semitic report of the local newspaper and sent his condolences to the family.
