Hundreds of devotees and fans headed by the Lelover Rebbe went to the grave of the holy Rabbi David Lelov zt"l, founder of the dynasty, marking two hundred years after his death.
The excited Chassidim prayed at the renewed tomb erected on the grave of the tzaddik. On the morning of the yartzeit the Rebbe rose with the chassidim to say tehillim together. Then, Rabbi Simcha Krakowski held a Mi Sheberach for boys from Israel (exclusive recording here) to be saved from the recruitment decree. As known many great and historic Polish tzaddikm would send boys who received the Polish Army mobilization to go to the tomb known for prayers for those groaning under the threat of the draft.
Towards the end of the day the Rebbe held a central yahzrteit Tish held in a huge tent specially constructed, one of the Chassidim tells of the excitement at the tish, known in Lelov as the Tish of Salvations, during which requests and tears mingle together with dancing and son and thanks, and the Rebbe blesses all the participants.
Hgr"z Hororwitz from Elad who joined the journey told about the Yom Kippur and Simchas Torah atmosphere as one at the yartzeit in Lelov. Another renewal was the mass Kiddush Levana at the central square in Lelov.
