End of 'Knockout' in Brooklyn? • Another serial attacker caught

Residents of neighborhoods in Boro Park and Flatbush in New York breathed a sigh of relief this weekend: Police announced that they managed to stop a youngster who admitted to committing seven attacks of "Knockout" in recent weeks in the Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn.

The attacker is a resident of New York, 35, who was arrested after three victims of the Knockout identified him in a lineup conducted by the police. Later the young man admitted he committed the seven cases, including assaulting two elderly Jewish women and a mother who was walking with her baby.

The criminal does not have a criminal record and will be prosecuted for assault with nationalistic background. Assemblyman of New York, Dov Hikind, praised the police for capturing the criminal, saying, "Now the residents of Brooklyn will be able to sleep peacefully. The Knockout game which has spread in recent months disturbs the peace of the Jewish people of New York and New Jersey and the police which could not catch the criminals".

In the 'Knockout game', the attacker is meant to knock the white victim and overthrow him in one blow to the ground. Police of Crown Heights, the stronghold of Chabad in Brookly, have managed to capture children aged 9 to 15 who admitted to having carried out the 'Knockout' on haredi children, residents of the neighborhood.
