Yemenite Rabbis convention: "kippot come off in army"

A conference of Yemenite Rabbis tonight (Saturday night), took place in Bnei Brak, against the conscription law.
The convention against the conscription law dinner was attended by over 70 Roshei Yeshiva and rabbis of Yemenite communities, who protested against conscription law and emphasized the need to strengthen the yeshiva students and their parents not to give in to the law being formulated in the Knesset.
Hagaon Rabbi Shlomo Korach warned against young recruits in the 'Shachar' Haredi frameworks: "Many have removed their kippot there," he said, "we must not compromise at all."
Hagaon Rabbi Aharon Haddad, head of Yeshivat Shaarei Tevuna, said that a number of yeshiva students who refused to appear were taken into detention. One of them , a graduate of the Yeshiva escaped but four others enlisted and "as of today they all took off their kippah, we need to strengthen the students that they have nothing to fear, we will all go to jail together until they throw us out."
Hagr"a Efegin, Rosh Yeshivat Beit Halevi, declared at the conference of an advanced program to establish Kollelim in Bnei Brak, Jerusalem and others, "in every Kollel there will be a thousand learners," he said , "without any assistance from the state. We do not need them."
Other speakers were: Hagaon Rabbi Azariah Bassis, Rav of Rosh Ha'ayin, Hagaon Rabbi Menachem Shmueli Rosh Yeshiva of Ateret Yoel, Hagaon Rabbi Pinchas Korach and more.
At the end of the conference, the decision was read according to which: "We are committed to see this period as an actual war, to cry out and rip the gates of heaven and pray every day to cancel the decree. Likewise we call on all members of our community to strengthen the Bnei Yeshivot and warn of the great danger."
