Preparing for the Iranian threat in a successful flight test 'Arrow 3'

The Defense Ministry said that a short time ago he made another successful flight test of the Arrow 3 Interceptor: The interceptor was launched successfully and performed all phases of flight in the atmosphere and space.
The experiment was performed in the experimental field at the center of the country - by Director Chuma Mapai, in cooperation the U.S. Agency for missile defense. During the experiment tested the capabilities of the new Arrow 3 system, which will enable the future to deal more effectively with the expected threats.
Arrow 3 system is designed to provide another layer of protection against missiles, added to opportunities Arrow 2 interceptor system, and thus reinforce the defenses of the State of Israel from long-range missile threats.
However, the study included only flight and not interception.
