IAF attacked launchers and an observation post in the Gaza Strip

Response to rockets and mortars attacks on the territory of the State of Israel, IAF aircraft attacked tonight (Friday) three goals in northern Gaza, including rocket launchers and an observation post.

Last night, after 20:00, a Qassam rocket which was launched from Gaza exploded in an open field Negev Regional Council. There were no casualties or damage.

The IDF spokesman said: "The IDF, using Force aircraft attacked shortly before three launchers buried in the northern Gaza Strip and a terror infrastructure in central Gaza Strip. Identified as being accurate targets. All our planes returned safely to their bases."

"Terrorist organizations have targeted Israeli civilians," the statement said, "The IDF will continue to act decisively and to the extent required for every factor which activates terror against the State of Israel. Hamas is a terrorist organization and the responsibility to address.
