Dust in pages of history: Moetzet Journey canceled

After dozens of hearings and meetings of the steering committee members, it was finally decided - historical journey of members of the Council of Torah Sages from the Association of Israel and the U.S. will be canceled.

Recall all started at the initiative of the Admor of Gur unanimous decision last Council meeting at the offices and the Executive Committee of the Association of Israel in Jerusalem, where it was decided to hold the journey, exposed hours after the first time in B'Chadrei Charedim.

The whole journey was accompanied by screeching, which already began with finding a huge hall that contains the tens of thousands at the convention center, the question continued participation of Admorim U.S. and Belzer Rebbe and the resistance of the Israel Association.

Steering Committee in the U.S. went up and down to find a huge hall to meet the requirements of complex weather, and now, just after finding a suitable place in Edison New Jersey - the trip was canceled.

Cancellation was due to several reasons: First, this afternoon Belzer Rebbe did not give his exit permit for personal reasons, and canceled the historic journey, secondly, non participation of the great Rebbes in the U.S., all of this, along with stormy weather and snow expected in New York, plus the high costs led to the decision to cancel the historic journey.

B'Chadrei Charedim learned that the last day there were negotiations with Jewish leaders from the United States who are members of those close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along Harav Grossman of Migdal Haemek and Rabbi of the Kottel Hgr"s Rabinowitz, in an attempt to postpone the trip. Jewish leaders have expressed fears that the conference this time will be understood incorrectly, and may increase anti-Semitism again.

In the past there was a secret meeting at the home of Menachem Gesheid in Bnei Brak , attended by several leaders from the U.S. who came to Israel especially , during which , a number of steps were discussed. Discussions were participated by MKs Yaakov Litzman and Yisrael Eichler.

B'Chadrei Charedim learned that a big rally will be held here in Israel next Tuesday – instead of the rally planned in the U.S.
