Kiryat Arba: synagogue and yeshiva burglar charged
Resident of Kiryat Arba admitted that he broke into synagogues and yeshivas in order to perform theft • sentence: 13 months in prison

Resident of Kiryat Arba, 32, was convicted by his own admission that he broke into Chabad Yeshiva in intent to commit theft.
The defendant entered the building which was under construction and stole an electric winch and sold it to Fahd Algabri for 500 shekels, and following these actions, he was convicted.
The defendant admitted in two other cases: On 27/10/2011 at 3:45 am adjacent to Sfat Emet Street in in Beit Shemesh, trespassing synagogues "Shaarei Torah" and "Ateret Nahum" with the intent to commit theft. He went along with another man into the synagogue Ateret Nahum through the safe room window, broke the door between room to room, stole the contents of two charity boxes, and took with him a third Tzedakah box he could not open, and stole 255 shekels.
Soon after, entered the synagogue Shaarei Torah went into the treasurers room, trying to steal from charity boxes which were there, but was caught. When police arrived, he fled the scene and was arrested when he returned to his vehicle.
He was also convicted that on 2/1/2012 he drove a motor vehicle without a driver's license.
Accusing the defendant appealed the penalty imposed on a total of 18 months in prison for all offenses, and probation bounce and bounce on probation.
Judge Hannah Miriam Lump decided to impose on the defendant thirteen months in prison, and if he in two years on felony property crimes, wants another 12 months in prison. 6 month driving disqualification.
