Anger and disbelief at the yeshiva administration of Beis Binyamin, Stamford Connecticut: nephew of Governor Dannel P. Malloy when bursting into one of the rooms of the yeshiva with a friend, and refused to leave the premises. Reported yesterday (Wednesday), CBS news network
The incident occurred Monday night when Kerry Malloy, 28, came when drunk and escorted by a friend, and managed to get into one of the classrooms of the yeshiva. Session manager asked him to leave, but the nephew claimed that in the name of religious freedom and human rights law, every citizen is allowed to enter the house of worship of any religion, so he wants to sit in the yeshiva to learn about the Jewish religion. The manager asked him again to leave but he refused.
Officials at the yeshiva pointed out that this is the second time that this has happened, and the nephew enters the meeting and tries to settle there.
Session manager called the police, which arrested him and his friend for "trespassing" (entrance somewhere private without permission). Last two were released on bail of five hundred dollars, they will stand trial on January 6, and were forbidden to approach the yeshiva.
