Rabbi Chaim to a sick child: "Do not hide your peyos and you will be healed"

"Do not hide your peyos behind your ears and you will be healed" promised Reb Chaim Kanievsky to a 10 year old son sick with cancer.

The child became unwell more than a year ago. He went to Rabbi Chaim who blessed him with a complete recovery soon, and indeed the disease passed and the boy returned to his normal life.

However, recently, malignant tumors were discovered again in the child's body and he needed difficult treatment in hospitals."

"We want the rabbi to bless the child again," the child's parents said: Reb Chaim heard the details raised his hand and removed the boy's peyos from behind her ears, and said: "Place your peyos outside and in this zechus you will get better."

Family claims that indeed recently Reb Chaim recommend to place the peyos on the cheeks and not hide them behind the ears as is custom in Rim yeshiva.
