Thirty days have passed since the sudden death of the young woman, Mrs. Feige Chaya Hagar a"h, the granddaughter of Admorim Vizhnitz and Viznitz Monsey. Upon completion of the thirty days for the widower, Rabbi Yochanan Hager got engaged this evening with her younger sister.
The bride is Trana Schneibalg, daughter of Rabbi Yisrael Schneibalg – son in-law of Rabbi Pinchas Shalom Hagar, Av Beis Din Viznitz Borough Park and Monsey and son of the Tchernowitz Rebbe – great grand grandson of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneibalg Av Beit Din Manchester.
Vizhnitz Monsey Rebbe noted that the Vizhnitz - Monsey Rebbe also married his wife's younger sister who died. In other Hasidic groups, in similar tragic cases the widower married the wife's sister.
Notices posted on the bulletin board in the Beis Midrash of Hasidism Viznitz - Monsey, the Rabbi Yisrael invites his followers to the engagement of his daughter, a son-in-law of past and future. The simcha will be held tonight at 20:30 (U.S. time).
Recall on Shabbos last month, at the Beis Midrash Eitz Chaim - Chernowitz Borough Park, the Beis Midrash of the grandfather of the deceased a"h, a kiddush was held and the baby's name is 'Margalia' after the wife of the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz whose death occurred on the twenty-second of Kislev.
The couple will bring up the orphaned baby together.
