High Court against the State: Why were bonuses eliminated?

The Supreme Court has issued today (Monday) with three judges conditional order requiring the state to explain why he did not date the grants to buyers of apartments in Charish - at least until the end of March.

Some background: in mid-2011 it was decided to award grants at a height of one hundred thousand shekels to each purchaser of an apartment in Charis. The grant will be distributed between the contractor and the purchaser, significantly lowering the prices of apartments. Two years later, at the end of auctions, the government decided to cancel the grants in question.

Z. Landau, who won in auction 400 housing units, petitioned through an attorney Yehuda Raveh against the decision. According to her, even if you can cancel a grant - do not do this immediately, and allow contractors a short period in which to try and take advantage of the grant, assuming these months, many would jump at the opportunity to take advantage of the grant.

As mentioned, the Supreme Court decided to give conditional order and exceptionally even hinted what he expects from the state - to extend the grants by the end of March.

Yaki Reisner, Deputy Z. Landau and CEO Raisdor entrepreneurship, explains to B'Chadrei Charedim: "If the court decision is received and grants will return - at least for a period, get the cost of each apartment in the project up to 750 thousand shekels, instead of more than 800 thousand as it is now." Reisner also mentions that already when the tenders were warned of complacency and price expectations too low.
