Following countless doubts and speculations on the historical journey of the great Rebbes members of Council of Torah Sages of Agudath Yisrael takes off: Tonight (Sunday) Belz Hasidism elite gathering at the home of the Rebbe in Jerusalem made the final decision – the Rebbe will go on the journey.
Line of marathon meetings was held by Hassidic leaders, including Hmsb"k Shimon Wolf Klein and MK Yisrael Eichler. This morning reached the house of Hgray"l Steinman on Chazon Ish Street in Bnei Brak to examine the possibility of joining Degel HaTorah to the journey - but without success so far. After visiting they gathered at the Rebbe in Jerusalem, where it was decided to join the accession.
B'Chadrei Charedim has learned that Hgray"l Steinman said in recent days per emissaries rebbes who wanted to hear his opinion regarding the trip, that he is not supporting nor opposed to the trip. Hgray"l was asked again tonight, and after being told that it was decided to hold the trip, he gave his blessing and said: "May we succeed in their mission to bring important benefits to so the voice of Torah will not be stooped, and we'll merit removing all the decrees of the Torah."
The last time the Belzer Rebbe visited the U.S was in Tsn"t and since he never visited the U.S.
Belzer Rebbe is expected to leave on Motzei Shabbos and recorded a large deployment in Belz Hasidim in Israel and abroad towards the historic visit. It appears Rebbe will land for a stopover in Europe but it is not final.
Following the final decision will meet tonight Steering Committee of the journey led by the Hasidic activists in Bnei Brak Mayor Chanoch Zeibert for a series of decisions prior to the journey.
As we've reported over the past week the Sadigura Rebbe will leave to the U.S. tonight; Biala Rebbe leave tomorrow, Monday, the Admor of Gur will come on Wednesday; Rebbe Vizhnitz will shorten his stay in London and will come on Sunday; Boyaner Rebbe will arrive on Sunday and the Vizhnitz Rebbe will leave next Motzei Shabbos.
It is still not clear when the Modzitzer Rebbe will leave, who is resting in Safed for the Bar Mitzvah of his grandson planned for next Tuesday and rejected by two weeks.
As it seems, the main event will be led by All Admorim on Sunday night.
Recall the two rebbes not to join: the Rebbe Erlau due to weakness and failure of Slonim Rebbe leaving the country.
