Vizhnitzer Rebbe cried: "Government is like Esav"

"Our brother have turned into Esav", said the Vizhnitzer Rebbe before his Chassidim on Shabbos.

During words spoken at the Vizhnitz center by the Vizhnitzer Rebbe, he spoke about the conscription law being formulated these days at the Knesset.

We have gone through a difficult week. People want to cancel Judaism and Torah study. Once, only goyim were able to make such decrees. They do not know that the world depends on it. But now our own brothers are making decrees.

The Rebbe paralleled those formulating the recruitment law, and especially Yair Lapid, to the original figure of Esav. "Save me from my brother, from the hands of Esav", and said, "our own brother have turned into Esav, I didn’t know our situation is so bad."

This week I participated at the Moetzet meeting and I was shocked to hear that our situation is very difficult; they want to impose sanctions and decrees upon us.

Once there was who to talk to, in the past, the Chazon Ish turned to Ben Gurion and they spoke. We knew there is who to talk to. Today the government won't listen to us. I ask of you to increase Torah study and daven for the success of the activists who are doing their best to cancel the terrible decree.
