Servers boycott: "we will not extend our hand to Bennett"

Tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon a ceremony will be held to salute the service of citizen service at David Yellin College in Jerusalem. Hundreds of haredi servers were invited; they found out that at the event is expected to deliver the keynote address Minister Naftali Bennett.

A group of about 25 servers launched the initiative, and turned all the entities related to the subject, to convince haredi servers not to come to the ceremony and boycott it.

According to the organizers, there is no obligation to participate in such an event, according to them, more than 250 servers have already announced that they will not come.

This is the text message sent to entities involved:

"Bodies which active important and precious organizations,
We are a group of servers who call upon you and demand not to force us to participate in the tribute ceremony tomorrow for civil service in Jerusalem. We are aware of the pressures you are going through and the threats implied on the manager. Important for us to note and report that there was no obligation to participate in the ceremony despite principal claims. It is prohibited by law to require servers to attend! And any such attempt is against the law!

"The goal being applied pressures, harassment and threats to the bodies and servants are the desire of the management to please the Minister Naftali Bennett who is supposed to deliver the keynote address tomorrow! Clear to you, then it is the Minister Bennett most need these days, it is a color image giving a speech in front of hundreds of yeshiva orthodox. For him it is a tremendous political prize and for that he will do everything!

"The political use he was going, and does it in us and the ceremony will serve as a boomerang against us. Them as bodies are important: know better than anyone how great is our distress in the Haredi sector these days, and some decrees of the Naftali Bennett and his brother Yair Lapid brought misfortunes difficult for observant Judaism. And it's the same Bennett exactly and we must not get confused and give him our hand.

"Minister Naftali Bennett and his Minister Yair Lapid are not deterred in any way and an opportunity to hurt us a whole sector. As avrechim who have families and who have their lives as Jews who fear the word of Hashem we our friends and our families were severely damaged by harsh decrees. Not only economic harm our pocket but hurt as a consequence of unbridled incitement campaign of the minister and his brother Naftali Bennett. Brutal campaign of incitement was not seen here for years!!

" We Jews fearing Hashem and victims of the brothers Bennett – Lapid are calling you and begging dear brothers please boycott and stop participating in this evening and do not give your hand in any way to those trying to harm the Torah world and the Haredi community . Tomorrow we all rally in honor of the Torah a rally entirely Kiddush Hashem. We do not extend our hand to our haters! We will not let them harm us!!! Boycott the salute conference, we salute the Torah world!!!
