"Hgray"l Steinman is the 'life' of Am Yisrael"

The high esteem that exists between Hgray"l Steinman and Rabbi David Abuchatzeira of Nahariya, has been written about many times. Chizuk tours held by Hgray"l in the north of the country, if they are held in the nearby towns of Nahariya or inside, keeping the Rebbe if possible and stabilized in those stands alongside Hgray"l. Since the first introduction with Hgray"l, they say, he gives himself over to many people who are waiting at the entrance of the residence of the Rebbe, to receive his blessings.

It was Shabbos Vayigash, when Rabbi Mordechai Silberberg Rabbi of Shikun 5 in Bnei Brak and head of Yeshivat Or Yehuda, spent Shabbos in Nahariya, and prayed at the shul of the Rebbe.

When the Rebbe heard that Hgrb"m was one of the associates of Hgray"l he ordered the gabbai to give him respect on Friday night, and went out of his way to honor him.

After the service, Rabbi David explained the meaning of honor at old age: "The word 'Israel' is an acronym of Rabbi Aharon Yehuda Leib Steinman. As long as the elders were the teachers of the holy Baba Sali, zy"a and teachers of the father the Baba Meir zy"a, I I would pray for them.
