Stabbing of yeshiva boy in Bnei Brak: Police arrested two suspects

A 19 and 16 year old minor were arrested on suspicion of involvement in stabbing a yeshiva boy on Friday night, on Hashomer Street • brought for remand

At the conclusion of an investigation, Israeli police detained two suspects of involvement in the stabbing incident that occurred on Friday night on Hashomer Street in Bnei Brak, during which a 19 year old yeshiva bochur was stabbed and was moderately injured.

Following the investigation that was conducted by the Dan Region Police, a number of actions were carried out, which raised the suspicion that a 19 year old resident of Bnei Brak is suspect along with another suspect, 16 year old minor of Bnei Brak.

Yesterday (Monday) the two were arrested by detectives of the Dan Region on suspicion of involvement in the incident. During a search of the minor's the knife which allegedly used by the adult suspect for stabbing, was caught.

The adult was taken this morning to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court while the minor was taken to the juvenile court in Tel Aviv.
