Harsh tragedy in Dushinsky Hassidus: Tonight (Monday), the avrech Harav Yaakov Yoel Hirsch z"l, Dushinsky chossid from Beit Shemesh, passed away in the U.S. at the age of 34.

As a child he suffered from a serious illness and already at the age of 12 he had a liver transplant. In the past year and half problems with his lungs emerged, and he was flown to the U.S. for treatment. He waited for a lung transplant but due to complications it was delayed.

Two weeks ago during a doctor's visit, he collapsed. He did not return to consciousness since then, and this evening returned his soul to its Creator.

In Dusnisky davening was held for him, the Rebbe visited him several times in the U.S. and would talk to him on the phone every Friday.

The deceased was born in Jerusalem to his father, Rabbi Yosef Yehoshua Hirsch, who died two years ago on Chanukah, after suffering a fatal illness.

In his youth he studied at Dushinsky institutions. He was a valued avrech, who despite his suffering, always displayed joy.

He served as a teacher in the Talmud Torah of Dushinsky in Beit Shemesh. His acquaintances tell of a man of chessed who loved to help, to rejoice and commiserate with others.

He is survived by his wife, from a family of Rabbi Moshe Azriel Treitel from Bnei Brak, his three daughters and son Shimon, who in the coming days will reach the age of three. The deceased expected to participate in the joy of Halake for his son, and promised to make him a great celebration, but did not merit.

The coffin will arrive tomorrow (Tuesday) at 17:00pm in Israel and the funeral leave at 19:00pm from the Great Beis Midrash Maharitz Dushinsky on Shmuel Hanavi Street in Jerusalem to Har Hamenuhos where he will be burried.

Sitting of Shiva is in the Hirsch family home on Batei Ungarin 93, Jerusalem.

May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
