David Greenfield, a member of the New York City Council, calls the police immediately to install the security cameras approved a year ago in the ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods.

David Greenfield who wears a skullcap, representing the Borough Park and Flatbush neighborhoods - said today (Wednesday) that the Jewish neighborhoods suffer for months a "knockout" plague and every week recorded more cases in which Jews are beaten by young people.

He said that the police were handed a budget of $ 415,000 to install security cameras in Jewish neighborhoods, but has not yet done so.

Greenfield calls the police to put the security cameras project a top priority: "young criminals manage to escape and continue to harm passers-by," he said. "The police cannot put a hand on them, and the Jewish population is immersed in fear. Installing security cameras on street corners allow the police to hunt down the culprits and punish them; it is the only solution that might help."

Meanwhile, JCRC Jewish organization, are offering a reward of five thousand dollars to anyone who brings information leading to the capture of the "knockout" attackers in the Jewish neighborhoods.
