Good tidings: Two weeks after he was badly wounded as a result of a collapse of stones at the Belz yeshiva in Ashdod - the casualty regained consciousness and began to communicate with those around him.
Shlomo was injured two weeks ago on Thursday, due to a concrete beam which fell on him, while he was at a construction site in the Dover Shalom Yeshiva building of Belz Hasidism, where he is studying.
Along with him, another bochur was injured and defined in medium condition, but was released the next day, and came to the Belzer Rebbe in Jerusalem to receive his blessing.
One week after his injury, he was out of danger, and his condition stabilized. From the ICU at Kaplan Hospital it was said last week: "The boy who was seriously injured was rushed with severe multi-system injury and bruises in different areas of his body. Following a complex operation with collaboration of a team of orthopedic surgeons and internists, he is out of immediate danger and is in stable condition, but still sedated and on a respirator".
Today (Tuesday) in the afternoon, he was taken down from the anesthetic gradually, and he began to communicate with those around him, to the satisfaction of the doctors.
