Following the publication of the opening of a new yeshiva attempting to split the yeshiva of Knesses Yitzchok in Hedera, tonight (Sunday) the Rosh Yeshiva Hagaon Harav Yehoshua Ehrenberg called a special chizuk talk for the yeshiva students.

In a special message to yeshiva students through the information line of the yeshiva, they were called to come and return early from the Hanukkah vacation. After lighting the candles, buses went out of Bnei Brak and Jerusalem to the yeshiva in Hedera.

Hagaon Harav Ehrenberg gathered the kibbutz bochurim only and related the history of events: According to him, he was at the Roshei Yeshiva of Slabodka, Hgrm"h Hirsch and Hgr"d Landa and showed them the letter written by the rabbis of Hedera yeshiva before the elections, in which they wrote that the yeshiva does not interfere in the issue of elections. He asked that they show it to Hagaon R' Aharon Leib Steinman but Hgrm"h Hirsch said he is not allowed to enter.

"I wrote a letter, I and the mashgiach Hagaon Rabbi Tuvia Novick, where we wrote that we did not intend to offend Gedolei Yisroel," he said. "Rabbi Epstein showed that to R' Chaim, who was satisfied with the wording of the letter. When they asked where to post it, they said they would publish it in 'Yated'. The yeshiva management did not object to the advertising and the spiritual committee decided to put it in, but just before the deadline orders were received from above not to publish it, and the letter was hung up eventually in Lederman shull."

"The situation we're in here, is convenient to both parties. I do not discriminate towards any party. I do not know who was on which side."

"The yeshiva will continue to hold both sides equally and one should know to stand up to the trial. We see that the boys are learning very well," the Rav concluded his words.
