Rabbi decided to teach the Jews to defend themselves

Following the 'Knock Out' game - which young gentiles ram Jews - which is gathering momentum in New York and becomes the terror of the inhabitants of the Jewish neighborhoods of the city, Rabbi Jerry Moskowitz comes out with an unconventional call: Learn the art of karate and protect yourselves. Rabbi, a Baal Teshוva who practiced the sport in the past, is even offering to teach anyone interested.

Rabbi Moskowitz currently lives in Queens, New York and serves as the rabbi of the local community. He formerly received degrees in karate.

"If the nations will know that we are strong and can defend ourselves they will not try to flay us," he cried to the Jews of New York.

Rabbi himself went into the field after harassment from the gentiles. As a child he was a single Jew in a full gentile area, and was the victim of anti-Semitism. That said: "I always wore a yarmulke and I was their goal. At 14 I went to camp which taught karate and when I returned I was skilled. Then I joined the police and I was the only Jewish cop at NYPD. During my work in the streets of New York I acquired great skill in violence and studied the psychology of crime."

Chapter 2 in his life he turned to rabbinical studies and finally, as mentioned, became a community rabbi. "I believe that if Jewish children learn self defense and give back to anyone who tries to harm them, the young gentiles will begin to fear and stop attacking us," said the rabbi at self-defense workshops held by the Religious Community.
