If Weinstein decides to appeal the election results, he will ask the court to order new elections in Beit Shemesh .

This was followed by large-scale fraud allegations raised in the police investigation. The findings could lead to the investigation of senior officials of the municipality.
Meanwhile, yesterday City Council convened its first meeting, in the municipal council. Local residents rushed in the meeting to protest the election results they said were fraudulent and counterfeiting.
