Haifa Rabbinical Court rejected the appeal of a resident of Netanya, who was fined 500 NIS for each day that she won't circumcise her son.

Rabbinical judges confirmed that the Rabbinical Court's ruling in Netanya, who accepted the father's request to force his wife to circumcise their one year old son.

The couple is in the process of divorce proceedings before a rabbinical court, and the mother is refusing to allow her son to be circumcised.

Conversation with Channel 2 explained, "I decided it best not to do child circumcision and the court has no authority to force me to do it. My husband also agreed at first."

As to the fine she said: "I do not pay the money, I have o way to pay, I do not work, and the fine accumulated to 2,500 shekels."

The mother said that it seems she will appeal to the High Court.

Rabbinical judges wrote in the decision that "if a case is opened and the mother is given the option to prevent circumcision or use the opposition as a means to fight the divorce achievements, we may find ourselves facing a surge of such cases, and then added to the formidable dimension process of divorce."
