Muslim attacked Orthodox: trapped inside the synagogue
Member of the ultra-Orthodox community was attacked by Muslim in Antwerp • fled into the synagogue - and the attacker was arrested

Member of the Orthodox community in Antwerp, Belgium, was attacked this morning (Saturday) by violence of Muslim.
The man, a resident of Antwerp, was on his way to prayer, when a Muslim who was probably drunk, attacked and beat him.
Muslim chased the man to the synagogue, but he managed to escape and alerted the local police. Victim was treated by local rescue forces and taken to hospital in mild to moderate condition.
Shmuel Markowitz, City Councilman Antwerp, told B'chadrei Charedim: "The man was on his way to the synagogue, once attacked he ran into the synagogue and the Arab chased him. Managed to escape, leaving the Muslim in the women's section until the police force arrived and arrested the attacker"
