Knockout in Borough - Park: "Suddenly I got a punch"

Shmuel Pearl, a young 24-year-old Orthodox beaten in the 'knockout' while returning from work in Borough Park in New York - reports that "New York Post".

As part of the common game among young black men across the United States, beating young passers for fun, when the challenge is overthrowing innocent citizens in one fist. The game spread throughout the United States as victims of the game are mostly white, often Jews.

It has been reported that two have already been killed by attackers.

Pearl made his way home at the end of the week when caught in a group of four young blacks. Then immediately got hit in the head and fell to the ground but got up quickly and managed to escape.

"I went home from work," he told the newspaper, "and a group of youngsters walked toward me. They talked loudly about the game and one of them challenged his friend and taunted him. Then the young man hit me in the face. I was not seriously injured and was able to move away quickly even though they called me to come back."

Pearl called the Shomrim, who searched the area and four young suspects were arrested a short time later.

So far recorded assaults of Jews in the Crown Heights neighborhoods bordering black neighborhoods, this is the first attack which occurs close to the heart of Borough Park.
