Surprise visit • senior officers in Kiryat Yoel

Unusual visit took place yesterday in Kiryat Yoel in Monroe: Group of Twenty five senior officers came on an official visit in town.

According to the U.S. Army accepted before ranking officers will be promoted and become generals, the officers patrol the twenty -six civilian areas in order to inspect the lifestyle of the residents.

Officers serving in the military camp Westpoint New York came to visit the Hasidic center.

The soldiers were greeted by members of municipality and local politicians.

They toured the main streets, where they are divided into four groups. They visited the shopping center and mall in the city center. They also came to visit the Great Midrash and Talmud Torah of Satmar Hasidism.

During the visit, the officers asked to hear details about the Orthodox tradition, were interested in the ways in which farmers and breadwinners of large families, lifestyles they do not know.

"How is it that your children are so happy and excited?" The visitors tried to understand, during the visit to religious schools, and received satisfactory answers.

At the end of the day, they went into a restaurant and ate dinner. Following a group photo with city activists the guests said goodbye to their hosts and thanked them for the visit which left a deep impression on them.
