Last night (Monday) the British ambassador to Israel arrived at the Ateret Yisrael Yeshiva in Bayit Vegan, Jerusalem. During his visit, the ambassador went into the Beis Midrash, was impressed by the intensity of study and even took out his mobile phone and began to photograph the students.
He then went to the home of the Rosh Yeshiva Hagaon R' Boruch Mordechai Ezrahi, and heard the opinion of Haredi rabbis on the Middle East peace process .
Hgrb"m Ezrahi explained to the ambassador that there is no one from the Jewish side who does not want peace with our neighbors, but the question is whether they really want peace, since we can not agree to peace which is war.
At the end of his words, the ambassador asked to meet with the Rosh Yeshiva alone.
