Marketing gig which ended with kashrus certificate forgery, made the original kashrus certificate revocation: a common phenomenon in recent years of ordering food through dedicated web sites. A few days ago, the Chief Rabbinate in Jerusalem has received the consumer appeal, which observed that a number of restaurants presented on the site under the supervision of the Jerusalem Rabbinate kashrus, retain the same phone number - but are located at different addresses.
A quick check revealed that some of those restaurants do not exist at the address shown on the internet. At this point, the unit was attached for review national law enforcement kashrus fraud.
It turned out that all restaurants are associated with each business fact that for reasons of marketing presents himself as the number of restaurants on the website - operated by separate companies. The original business only has one kosher certificate, while other businesses do not exist.
Chief Rabbinate went to the website to check if the site were presented certificates of approval on behalf of the business, and it became clear that the business owner falsified the original certificate received, and stuck it against the law the names of the fictive restaurants. At the end of the inquiry the original certificate was denied from the business owner forger.
Jerusalem businesses that do not have a kosher certificate relating to this affair: Max Bagel – Kanfei Nesharim 24 (business does not exist) Healthy Salad Bar – Kanfei Nesharim 15 (business does not exist); aroma of coffee – 8 Hamarpe Street Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, an audit conducted by the National Unit Inspector Yavne'el, perceived business owner, Breslov butcher, in the city, presenting the kosher business - without the seal of approval from the competent local rabbinate. Instead, introduced by the business owner supervision body known as the "Home Teaching Yavneel." An investigation conducted by B'Chadrei Charedim indicates that the body is linked to Mhara"s Yavniel kashrus.
"We hereby announce that the aforementioned body is not empowered to issue certificate of approval according to law. The public should be aware and careful", warns the National Training Department of the Chief Rabbinate.
Division also warns that the recent attempt to introduce a false legitimacy of Israel milling, under the brand 'Dove of Peace' Palestinian-made. The product was caught trying to transfer at a roadblock.
"To remove any doubt, we advertise that this product is not under the supervision of the Chief Rabbinate kashrus nationwide. Chug Chatam Sofer Bnei Brak said that his kashrus stamp, printed on the packaging, is false."
