London police announced today (Thursday) on the closure of the investigation against Rabbi Chaim Halpern, community Rabbi of Divrei Chaim in Golders Green in London, suspected of molesting women from the community who came to him for advice in matters of Shalom Bayis .
This is the end of the affair which crossed London in particular and Orthodox Europe in general.
The case was closed probably due to refusal and concerns of the women to cooperate with the police investigation and testify against Rabbi Halperin.
Recall three months ago investigations against Rabbi David Halperin - a community rabbi in Hendon, and two activists, Gavriel Ost, head of the Shomrim in Golders Green, and Alexander Strom, were closed, since apparently not obtained evidence proving that they disrupted investigation proceedings in the case.
