Tragedy in Borough Park: Pinchas Tzitrenzon, 75-year-old Orthodox Jew, was waiting on the platform, fell on the tracks - and run over by a speeding train which entered the station.
Disaster occurred at the train station on Avenue Ford Hamilton and New Aitrik. Tzitrenzon waited for the train towards Manhattan, when suddenly slipped and fell onto the tracks before the eyes of dozens of people who were present. Tzitrenzon tried to get up, but as he tried to recover the train came into the station and didn’t notice him.
He was run over and killed instantly. Volunteers of Chesed Shel Emes came to the station to avoid desecration of the dead.
