Still at the bottom: how many haredim joined this year?

Data of enlistment to the IDF in the current cycle are published, and again ultra-Orthodox cities are on the bottom. As in past years, in the city of Modi'in is highest.
According to the Head of Personnel Directorate, Maj. Gen. Orna Barbibay, a quarter of the men who should recruit do not. And in 2013 about 14% did not enlist because of Torato Umanuto. Among women, the situation is much worse - 42.6% who are required to recruit did not recruit to the Idf during the last cycle.
List of cities in the bottom are Bnei Brak, where there are 1,769 conscripts, but only 11.8% actually enlist. Located adjacent to other Haredi cities: Modi'in Illit with 11.7% recruitment of 222 who must recruit, of Beitar Illit with 15.7% of the 287 who must recruit, and Elad with 38.2% of the 186 debtors.

However, Barbibay is rather encouraging, she said, the IDF has stood at the expected recruitment numbers among the Orthodox: two thousand Orthodox mobilized in 2013. In 2014, 2300 Orthodox should join, and 3200 will enlist in 2016.
Among girls Bnei Brak is at the bottom of the list when connected to cities with highest amount of women who declared their religious observance are: Netivot, Beit Shemesh, Jerusalem and Safed.
