Turmoil in the Knesset: "What's the Temple Mount? There is no such thing"

Stormy Knesset Interior Committee: During the discussion of the regulations for Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount, pandemonium broke out when the Arab MKs and the Jews hurled accusations at each other and swearing.

At the beginning of the hearing Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs , MK Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan said he intends to transfer regulations to allow Jews praying on the Temple Mount . Ben Dahan said that if the chief rabbis allow Jews their rabbis continuous duty increase on the Temple Mount - up the mountain , the government will review installation regulations or " decide to offer " arrangements. Deputy Minister added that he expected an answer from rabbis, before he will formulate a decision on new regulations - and left the discussion at the end of his words.

Arab MKs followed, protesting all the while shouting the very existence of the debate, and catcalls of committee chairman MK Miri Regev: "you're pyromaniac, burning fire and you will have part of the responsibility of a third intifada." MK Tibi cried all his way out at Regev: "You do not come in al -Aqsa."

MK Jamal Zahalkha from Balad and MK Zevulun Kalfa from Habayit Hayehudi confronted face to face, and were close to hitting eachother. Zahalka called to Kalfa: "You are a bully and a fascist." MK Kalfa had no choice and told him: "You are a barbarian, go to Saudi Arabia."

During the early discussion Arab Knesset members interfered with the Deputy Minister causing interruptions. MK Jamal Zahalke cried out: "What's the Temple Mount? No such thing, there is only al-Aqsa Mosque. You want a third intifada. "

When MK Orit Struck from Habayit Hayehudi told MK Ahmed Tibi said that he was an aide to Arafat - Tibi responded: "Arafat's shoe is not worth ten like you."

Following the turmoil and insults, as well as discussion disorder, MK Miri Regev asked the Ethics Committee to pass a strong complaint against Arab MKs cursing.
