Elections activist Shaya Brand was released

After four days of detention and interrogation, Shaya Brand, who was arrested as part of an active election fraud investigation in Beit Shemesh was released. He was released under restrictive conditions and he will be under house arrest for five days.

According to police, the investigation continues.

Brand was summoned for questioning last Wednesday, when he was not at home, on suspicion of activists and organizers payment involved.

This morning (Monday), Brand was released in agreement and under restrictive conditions, and returned home (to celebrate his anniversary) . At this stage, there are no other detainees.

About the detainees who were released, he says: "The fact of their release does not mean the end of the investigation."
