Drama during Shabbos in Beit Shemesh: An Orthodox girl died and her body was kidnapped by ultra-Orthodox fanatics.

On Shabbos morning at about 9:40 a girl of about 16 epileptic and resident of Jordan River Street in Beit Shemesh, did not awake from her asleep.

MDA medics and Hatzalah team, who arrived, declared her dead, and the police were called like in every death.

During Shabbos, fanatics gathered outside the girl's home and kidnapped the deceased body, fearing the police will require the autopsy on the deceased.

She was initially hidden in a mikveh, and moved to other hiding places.
On Motzei Shabbos, Avraham Cope, commander of ZAKA Beit Shemesh, was called and spoke with police commanders who made clear there was no intention to analyze the deceased.
The funeral will be held tonight.

Shmulik Ben Ruby, a spokesman for the Jerusalem police said on Motzei Shabbos to B'Chadrei Charedim that "police who were called to the scene following the death, understood that this is a girl who was unwell, and left." At no stage did we think to take her for an autopsy, and I do not understand what the turmoil is about".
